Founder’s Day Service

Just got back from London, where I’ve spent the weekend with the Explorer leaders & Marple Rangers. We travelled down by train on Friday, spent Saturday morning at the service, which was held at Webminster Abbey (which was actually very good for a Scouting service), and then Saturday afternoon was spent travelling London, which involved a visit to the Royal Observatory at Grenwich.

Anyway had a great time, consumed a few pints, and didn’t get much sleep!

Babies

Just a quick note of congratulations to Vicky & James, who had a baby boy who they’ve called Ashley. Also in the last week Mark & Sara Baxter have had a baby girl who they’ve named Felicity Hope Baxter. Congratulations to everyone.

Deathly Hallows

Its official! On July 21st 2007, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released, and I can’t wait!

Man United vs. Watford

I’ve been to Old Trafford this evening to see Manchester United take on Watford, and United where victorious (4-0). The first half was a bit quiet, but the 2nd half more than made up for it. Was a good game, and my first game this season!
